“Our goal is to bring our business community together in collaboration with law enforcement to reduce theft with practical and sustainable solutions.”
– Bob Norkus, Executive Director BEDC
The Bensalem Secure Theft Reduction Taskforce is a comprehensive program targeting internal and external theft at retail and other businesses. The initiative was announced during the inaugural Bensalem Secure Summit held Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
Businesses large and small are invited to participate in the taskforce, attend free workshops, make inquiries, share information and take advantage of free resources that will help deter theft and improve Bensalem’s business environment.
Resources and information available to all businesses:
- The free Bensalem Secure toll-free hotline for employees to report internal or external theft concerns safely and anonymously. The phone number is 888-826-7471. Free posters are available. Contact the BEDC for details.
- Free window decals and posters that inform would-be thieves that Bensalem protects its community and prosecutes all crimes.
- The Fusus cloud networking camera program, designed to create stronger public-private collaborations to keep communities safe. The platform enables businesses and community organizations to work more closely with the Bensalem Township Police Department to mitigate and investigate criminal activity in their neighborhoods.
Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 484-354-0287 for more information, to participate in the taskforce or to obtain decals or posters for your business.
