ABOUT Bensalem Secure: In January 2024, Bensalem Secure, a retail theft reduction initiative, was launched in Bensalem Township. This ongoing initiative is a collaborative effort between the Bensalem Economic Development Corporation, the Bensalem Police Department, the office of Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. Designed as a comprehensive retail theft reduction plan, Bensalem Secure focuses on partnerships, prevention, policing, and prosecution to effectively reduce retail theft crimes and enhance community safety.
