Bensalem EDC Launches Bensalem Secure to Target and Reduce Theft
Launched during the inaugural Bensalem Secure Summit in January 2024, the Bensalem Secure Theft Reduction Task Force is a comprehensive and collaborative program designed to target internal and external theft at retail and other businesses.
The Bensalem Economic Development Corporation, Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo’s Administration, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, and law enforcement are working hand-in-hand with Bensalem businesses of all sizes to reduce theft by developing practical and sustainable solutions.
Participants have the opportunity to attend free workshops, make inquiries, share information and take advantage of free resources that will help deter theft and improve Bensalem’s business environment.
Resources and information available to all businesses:
- The free Bensalem Secure toll-free hotline for employees to report internal or external theft concerns safely and anonymously. The phone number is 888-826-5471.
- Free window decals and posters that inform would-be thieves that Bensalem protects its community.
- The Fusus cloud networking camera program, designed to enables businesses and community organizations to work more closely with the Bensalem Township Police Department to mitigate and investigate criminal activity in their neighborhoods.
